Everything Everything make their long-awaited Toronto debut on August 6. They’ll be here performing on the TIME Festival main stage. Before their trip across the Atlantic, read our quick Q&A with the indie rock band.
1. What can people expect from you at TIME Festival?
We dress like priests at a rave. I sing really high. We always try to make it as exciting as possible.
2. Who are you looking forward to seeing at TIME Festival?
I’ve heard an awful lot about a band called Frigs, so we will definitely be checking them out. Run The Jewels too, of course.
3. What are you looking forward to about visiting or re-visiting Toronto?
I have family there so that’s going to be great to see them again. In general I just love Canada, it’s like America but without all the guns. I really want to go back and spend some more time there.
4. What is your favourite time of day?
Around 7pm where it becomes acceptable to start getting drunk. Sadly.
