On August 6, COLD CAVE returns to Toronto on his clouds of synthpop darkwave. Ahead of his appearance at the TIME Festival main stage, Wesley Eisold answered some quick questions about what we can expect.
1. What can people expect from you at TIME Festival?
I’m the dark horse of the festival. The romantic electronic punk.
2. Who are YOU looking forward to seeing at TIME Festival?
I’m not sure yet. Hopefully will be turned on to something new.
3. What are you looking forward to about re-visiting Toronto?
Toronto is beautiful and has a lot of good vegan food, record stores, and galleries. I started playing in Toronto around 2000 and have always loved it but never get to spend enough time there.
4. What is your favourite time of day?
7 am is peace. At this hour you can think. There’s purpose in the early morning without the desperation of the night.
